If you have never rented a dumpster before, however, it is important that you find out all you can about it before going for it. Our dumpsters come with a lock to prevent unauthorized dumping. Dimensions of Rental Dumpsters
10 Yard Dumpster
20 Yard Dumpster
30 Yard Dumpster
40 Yard Dumpster
If you are going to rent a roll off container and you want to know the ideal size to rent, simply think of how big your project is. The size of the container must just be right for the volume of waste you expect; renting a container that is way bigger than what you actually require is going to cost you more than necessary. But how can you tell what size to get?
The standard sizes for dumpsters range from 10-cubic yard to as large as a 40-cubic yard. Of course, you also have 15-cubic yard, 20-cubic yard and 30-cubic yard in between. To give you an idea of which size of dumpster to use, consider the following load requirements common in most home renovation projects.
One-Room Remodel: For a one-room remodeling project, you will probably just need a 20 cubic yarder for all your wastes, because a 20-cubic yarder can already hold 6 truckloads, which is supposed to be enough for a regular-sized room, but if it is a bigger area, such as the kitchen, and there are cabinets and kitchen appliances to dispose, a 30-cubic yarder will be more appropriate. A one-room remodeling project is not going to generate more than 10 truckloads of wastes, in which case, a 20-cubic yarder will be enough, unless you are going to remodel your kitchen and dispose your kitchen cabinets, then you can opt for a bigger yarder, such as the 30-cubic dumpster.
Multiple-Room Remodel: A 30-cubic yarder will likely be enough for a multiple room remodeling project. Then again, you always have to bear in the mind the volume of waste you will generate from each room you remodel. Our staff can help determine the correct size for your needs.
Storage Area Cleanup or Remodeling: Any rubbish from your basement, attic or garage will likely fit inside a 10-cubic yard container, or a 15-yard container. A 10-yard dumpster measures 12 feet across, eight feet wide and four feet high.
Whole House Cleanup: If you are doing a major house renovation, rent a 20-cubic yard dumpster. These yard containers are sufficient to even stow away your furniture and then some.
Landscaping: Landscaping wastes may comfortably fit in a 10- to 15-cubic yard dumpster, but if the project is large-scale, which includes the other outdoor areas, go for the next size. Plants, tree branches, and soil take up a lot of space
Construction and Demolition: Construction and demolition projects are medium sized projects, for which you are likely to need a 30- to 40-cubic yarder to accommodate construction wastes like drywall and lumber. If you are dumping mostly bricks, however, you should be able to fit them in a smaller-sized specialty dumpster. If you are disposing bricks, a small dumpster will be enough.
By all means, use these pieces of information when you are thinking of renting a dumpster for your project, but do call us to help you make a smart decision. Based on our experience, customers tend to over-estimate the actual volume of rubbish they have in their property and as a results, they spend more money than they should have. We will want to find out, especially, what kind of project you will undertake, whether it will involve tearing, removal of large items, and so on, so that we can give you the proper advice. It will please us greatly to hear from you, so give us a call at [817-484-0032].

Do I Need a Dumpster Rental Service Permit?
You may or may not need a permit to avail yourself of the roll off rental service, but it always pays to have the necessary documents ready, more so if it involves something big.
Whether or not you will be required to get a permit will mostly depend on the laws of your city. Actually, most cities in the US do not require this if the dumpster is safely parked inside your property. However, if you have limited space in your property, or if you need to place the yarder outside, then a permit will most likely be required. You may be made to pay the necessary permit costs. Based on our experience, if you put the dumpster within your property within a reasonable period, you won’t need any kind of permit. However, the rules change when you don’t have any space in your property. In which case, you would be forced to park the dumpster on the street or sidewalk. You have to call your local North Richland Hills city office at 817-427-6000 or homeowners association for advice on how to go about the whole process. You can, perhaps, spare yourself the hassle of getting a permit by keeping the dumpster safely inside your property.
